I bought these to try for woodturning. For hollowing out bowls they cut like crazy and you can very quickly hog out your bowl. It is very aggressive and should be used at an angle. By narrowing the angle you can also get quite a fine finishing (scraping cut). They also work very well for roughing out the exterior of green wood, all the way down to a finishing cut. This is now my favourite tool for such turning.
After seeing the other review about the use of these tips for woodturning, I purchased a couple of the 12mm round tips to try, excellent results, delivery and price were also spot on.
Recently purchased 2 sizes of Tip (8&10m/m diameter to experiment with a tool I had made to turn various Hardwood turnings.
