Have not yet used this tool, so can't review properly but agree with previous view that a little more length would be good. APT were most helpful in allowing me to buy the appropriate insert.
I was looking for a tool to finish turn some acetal parts with a radius. This was exactly right and the finish was brilliant. Have since used on brass and it performs excellently. I’m sure it would be just as good for steel but don’t have the correct inserts. If I were being really picky a little extra length would be good.
